I adore Dita Von Teese's vintage style! Her vanity and hat dressing room are just magnificent. According to an interview she did with Instyle, she has over 300 vintage hats! Amazing!

While I do love a well organized man, I am rarely impressed by their closets. Probably because there are few items that I would want to have in my own. However, recently, I've been watching a lot of the Nate Berkus show and I have grown quite fond of him. His closet is simple and organized, but its the great blue color that really makes it stand out.

Following the demise of my laptop and the loss of my personal photos and saved closets, I found little interest in going online and updating my blog. Then last night, I was trying to shift some fall things out of my closet (it finally feels like summer in the Bay Area!) and I needed some inspiration. I am so glad to see that my blog still has followers and I am going to take baby steps to updating daily again. Today's post is of a very simple dressing room with the most amazing wall color. I already thought Khloe Kardashian had a pretty legit shoe closet, as seen in my previous post here. But then, I saw the rest of her clothes closet. I am in love. Everything is color organized, the pants are together, the denim is together, bags are stacked. One of my favorite closets by far. No wonder Khloe is so well put together. 

Hooked!

My grandmother recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas, and she brought me back the most darling little dish from Anthropologie. It's the perfect size for storing the rings which I wear everyday.

So, I spend over an hour perusing the Anthropologie website and found the most incredible hooks that are just perfect for any closet!

It should come as no surprise that Jessica Alba has a chic shoe closet to match her style. As much as I love her shoes, I just can't get enough of those hats! What a clever way to store hats. Definitely something I'll be doing as soon as I fix my hat deficiency in my closet.

Model, Elettra Wiedemann's, closet is by no means a favorite of mine (however, I would love to prance around in that red tulle skirt). But, I'm a sucker for fresh flowers so I'm posting some pics. I am so excited for the weather to warm up and for my grandmother's roses to bloom so that I can put them all over the house.

I came across this article in the January 2011 issue of Allure magazine. While, most of the tips here are pretty typical (hang your purses, stack clutches, don't hang sweaters, blah, blah, blah), I was surprised that I never realized that hanging silk shirts with beading could tear my tops! You would think that it would be pretty obvious. So I quickly had to find a new way to store my beaded tops. Can't think of anything practical and stylish yet. But, in the meantime, I decided to post some pictures of my prized beaded tops.

This is so lovely and simple. And it has all my favorite elements of a great walk in closet: an island of drawers, flowers, and color organization. The chandeliers add such a sophisticated touch. Every time I see a new closet, I just want to go shopping and reorganize my own.

Although, I do not know who this closet belongs to, it is easily one of my favorites. It could pass for a lovely minimalist sitting room with a fireplace and great shelving for books. But instead, it transforms into a heavenly dressing room where the shoes replace books. Love it, love it, love it!

This girl is just so stylish! So I'm not surprised her closet is amazing. She converted her office in her apartment into this beautiful fashion sanctuary. Gotta love the zebra rug! I can only imagine the incredible accessories she has stored in there.

My mom found this jewelry display for me at Costco of all places. I figured now would be a good time to share some of my own pieces. I love accessories and jewelry, however, I rarely buy any for myself. Its a mix of not being able to wear them to work/not finding it practical when I can just buy another handbag instead ;). Most of my collection are pieces that I have been gifted or have kept for sentimental reasons. 

My father bought me this teapot at an antique shop when we were shopping together one day. My family drinks tea 3+ times a day so it seemed quite appropriate. 

I purchased this little handmade necklace from a man working from his truck outside of Pebble Beach outside of Monterey. Its made out of a beautiful tiny piece of sea glass. 

I love this ring even though it is so big I can only wear it on my thumb. The turquoise and gold together are one of my favorite combinations.

This is absolutely phenomenal. Artist Charlotte Mann draws these amazing works of art using only a black marker pen on a white background. It instantly livens up the room. You can go without a lot of furniture or decor if you have a wall that looks as amazing as this one. Check out more of her inspirational works here.

I have been feeling quite inspired to reorganize my closet. The weather in California has been feeling like Spring, so perhaps its time for a little spring cleaning.
