Anna Sui

Anna Sui uses this room as a closet to store her treasures that don't fit in her wardrobe. I love how she stores her handbags, that's such a great idea. I see sequins and sparkles! :) Happy Halloween everyone!
Kisses!

Fall

I love getting dressed for fall weather. I love venturing into the cold weather, wearing layers of sweaters and coats. Nothing quite beats being cozy at home with a cup of tea and hearing the rain patter against the windows. So, naturally, I adore this sweater. Its basically a blanket with sleeves, and who wouldn't love that? I look forward to fall because I know I can wrap myself up in it for any occasion. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it at Abercrombie and Fitch. I bought in spite of my friends qualms that it might look silly.

Jenna Lyons

So Jenna Lyons, creative director of J. Crew, converted a bedroom into a closet. I think its about time I convert my bedroom into a closet. That's essentially the only thing I use it for anyway. And to sleep of course. Not only do I long to have enough bedrooms to transform into closets, but I long for her amazing shoe collection. Just look at some of the colors! Love it!

Sex and the City 2

Elle Decor
This is the best His & Her closet I have ever seen. I love how the opposing sides are styled, masculine for the guy and delicate for the girl. Its a shame that if I shared this closet with my boyfriend, his side would lack any sort of organization.
Thanks for the comments, kisses!

A venture into my own closet...

I am really beginning to regret not taking advantage of Ruehl while it was open. Ruehl was a concept by Abercrombie & Fitch that was meant to appeal to a slightly older demographic. The clothing was lovely and the handbags were phenomenal. Unfortunately, it closed at the beginning of this year. But, I did get to buy this beautiful handbag right before they closed. It is made with the softest leather and has beautiful detailing.

Who knew Abercrombie could do leather? Abercrombie & Fitch still sells these handbags, (with A&F hardware) here.

Sex and the City

I can't say I've ever been much of a fan of the "Sex and the City" tv series or film, but I have always admired the styling and interiors. It would be a dream to wake up in the morning and walk through this gem of a closet on the way to the bathroom to wash up. I simply adore how girly it is!

Tamara Mellon

Naturally, Tamara Mellon's (founder of Jimmy Choo) shoe closet is absolutely phenomenal. What could be better than shelves of perfectly lined up stilettos and boots? And it looks so springy and airy! I'm absolutely in love!

I had to include all of these pictures because I was just so inspired by the Juicy co-founder's home. It looks like something out of a story book!

Stories

In my opinion, each article of clothing that we own tells a story. It may be the story of why we purchased that item. Or the story of our lives when we purchased it. Or perhaps, the story of what happened when we wore it. When I shop, I see fashion as an investment and a collection. Some people collect antiques (this is another weakness of mine), some stamps, or shoes, or handbags, or cards, and so on and son on. I collect clothing. Naturally, I can't just throw these investments into my collection in any place, which is why I safeguard them meticulously in my closet. Nothing inspires me more than closets, and of course their contents. I can't think of too many things more wonderful than seeing a closets filled with items that are loved and cherished. Closets can range from yearly designer purchases to weekly H&M buys, from local flea market finds to distant flea markets found during travels. What's important is that the closet tells a story. I plan to fill this blog with my own clothing investments that tell the stories of how I acquired them or what was happened in my life, as well as pictures I find of closets that are inspiring.
